We’re so excited to be celebrating in Đa Lạt, Vietnam – the city where we fell in love and where we can’t wait to welcome you for our wedding.
Tucked in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, Đa Lạt is known as the City of Flowers – a peaceful mountain retreat with cool weather, pine forests, and French-colonial charm. Originally built as a summer escape by the French, it’s now famous for its winding streets, charming cafes, lakes, gardens, and fresh highland air.
The perfect setting for a romantic celebration.

If you want to take the scenic route or are planning some pre-wedding travel, here are a few great ways to get to Đa Lạt from Ho Chi Minh City or other regions:
A classic, slow-travel option — and one we’ve done ourselves!
We took the Reunification Express overnight from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang in a 4-berth sleeper carriage, and it was a heap of fun (and surprisingly comfy!). Think bunk beds, noodle cups, card games, and watching Vietnam roll by through the window.
Duration: ~7 hours (overnight option available)
Cost: ~$30–$40 AUD per person (soft sleeper 4-berth cabin)
Train: SGN → Nha Trang
Bus/Car: Nha Trang → Đa Lạt
Duration: ~3.5–4 hours
Cost: ~$10–$20 AUD
Comfortable, air-conditioned buses with reclining seats (some even fully flat), phone chargers, and WiFi. These run directly from Ho Chi Minh City to Đa Lạt multiple times a day.
Duration: 6–8 hours
Cost: $15–$25 AUD
Recommended companies: Phuong Trang (Futa Bus Lines), Thanh Buoi, Vu Linh Limousine
If you’re travelling with family or a group, a private car or van is another option. Prices vary depending on group size and car type.
Duration: 6–7 hours from Ho Chi Minh City
Cost: ~$150–$250 AUD total (up to 6 passengers)
